UK arrests teen linked to Transport for London cyber attack

Transport for London disclosed a cyberattack on 1 September that impacted internal staff systems and customer-facing services and resulted in the theft of customer personal data (names, contact details, email addresses, home addresses) and possible financial/Oyster refund information for roughly 5,000 customers; the NCA arrested a 17-year-old suspect and is coordinating the investigation with the NCSC and TfL.
