ADT confirms data breach after customer info leaked on hacking forum

ADT confirmed a cybersecurity incident in which threat actors accessed some customer-order databases and leaked allegedly stolen customer records (reportedly ~30,800 entries containing emails, addresses, user IDs and products) on a hacking forum; ADT says affected customers are a small percentage of its base and that there is no indication payment data or home security systems were compromised.
