Fidelity Investments says data breach affects over 77,000 people

Fidelity Investments disclosed a breach in which an attacker leveraging two newly created customer accounts accessed personal information for 77,099 customers between August 17–19; the company detected the activity on August 19, reported that customer account access was not viewed, and is offering two years of credit monitoring and identity restoration to those affected.
