New Microsoft Teams feature will let you report suspicious calls

Microsoft is introducing a default-on “Report a Call” feature in Teams call history (Windows, Mac, web) so users can flag suspicious calls as scams/phishing; limited metadata (timestamps, duration, caller ID, participant IDs) will be shared with the organization and Microsoft, with detailed views in Microsoft Defender for licensed customers or basic data in Teams Admin Center. Admins can disable the feature; rollout starts mid-March for Targeted Release, completes late March, and reaches GA by late April, alongside related protections such as false-positive message reporting, the ability to block external users via Defender, and fraud warnings for impersonation attempts.
