Fake Leather wallet app on Apple App Store is a crypto drainer

A malicious fake Leather cryptocurrency wallet app was published on the Apple App Store, posing as the legitimate wallet and functioning as a wallet drainer that collected users' secret recovery phrases and enabled theft of cryptocurrency and NFTs. The app used official Leather branding and favorable-looking fake reviews to appear legitimate; users reported losses, the app remained live for roughly two weeks despite reports to Apple, and was ultimately removed.
