Darknet marketplace Nemesis Market seized by German police

German and Lithuanian authorities, with support from U.S. agencies, seized the Nemesis Market darknet marketplace on March 20, 2024, taking control of the site, confiscating roughly $100,000 and platform data. Nemesis, active since 2021, facilitated sales of drugs, stolen data, credit cards and cybercrime services (ransomware, phishing, DDoS) and had about 150,000 user accounts and 1,100 seller accounts; seized data will be used in ongoing investigations though no arrests of core operators were confirmed.
