Microsoft announced that Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 reached end of support on October 14, 2025 and urged administrators to upgrade to Exchange Server Subscription Edition or migrate to Exchange Online; after the October 2025 updates Microsoft will stop issuing security and timezone patches and will cease technical support for these versions, increasing the risk to systems that remain on unsupported releases.
