Framework discloses data breach after accountant gets phished

Framework disclosed that a Keating Consulting accountant was tricked by a CEO-impersonation phishing email on January 11, leading to the release of a spreadsheet with customer names, email addresses, and outstanding balances. Framework notified impacted customers, warned them of follow-on phishing risk, and said it will require phishing training and audit accounting vendors' procedures.
