Microsoft announced that driver synchronization via WSUS will be deprecated on April 18, 2025, and while WSUS itself is no longer under active development, it will continue to receive published updates and maintain existing functionality. Organizations are urged to transition to cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopatch, and Azure Update Manager; drivers will remain available on the Microsoft Update Catalog but cannot be imported into WSUS.
