A U.S. government contractor's son, John Daghita, allegedly stole more than $46M in cryptocurrency from U.S. Marshals Service seized assets by abusing access at his father's contractor firm (CMDSS); blockchain investigator ZachXBT traced movements linking the funds (including holdings tied to the 2016 Bitfinex hack) to wallets associated with Daghita, who then taunted the investigator via Telegram and dusting, and was subsequently arrested in Saint Martin in a joint FBI–French Gendarmerie operation.
