Target's dev server offline after hackers claim to steal source code

Hackers claim to be selling internal Target source code after publishing sample repositories on Gitea with SALE.MD indexes listing tens of thousands of files (~860 GB). The repositories referenced internal Target servers and employee names; after being contacted, the sample repos were removed and Target's git.target.com became inaccessible. BleepingComputer observed indicators consistent with private internal Git content, but the full dump and breach have not been independently confirmed.
