Microsoft says Windows 11 26H2 is coming soon, details upgrade process

Microsoft announced Windows 11 version 26H2 is being tested in the Dev Channel and will be delivered as an annual H2 feature update. Devices running Windows 11 24H2 or 25H2 can upgrade to 26H2 using a small enablement package (eKB) that activates dormant features and changes the build number to 26300; systems on 23H2 or earlier will require the full 6.5 GB update. Microsoft confirmed 24H2–26H2 share the same servicing branch, provided no changes to hardware requirements have been announced, and did not disclose a general availability date.
