Hackers leak alleged Taylor Swift tickets, amp up Ticketmaster extortion

Threat actors identified as ShinyHunters / Sp1d3rHunters leaked samples they say are barcode data for 166,000 Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets and demanded $2 million, claiming far larger Snowflake-derived datasets and event barcodes will be released otherwise; this activity is tied to a broader campaign where credentials stolen by info-stealing malware were used to access Snowflake accounts of dozens of organizations and extort them. Ticketmaster responded that its SafeTix dynamic barcodes refresh every few seconds (preventing reuse) and denied engaging in ransom negotiations.
