GrapheneOS: Frequent Android auto-reboots block firmware exploits

GrapheneOS disclosed firmware vulnerabilities in Android devices that could allow data exfiltration or surveillance when devices are not in the "at rest" state and proposed an auto-reboot mitigation to reduce the window of exploitation; the project updated its auto-reboot implementation (now an 18-hour timer in init) and reported the issues to Google's Android VRP.
