Fujitsu confirms customer data exposed in March cyberattack

Fujitsu confirmed that a sophisticated, non-ransomware malware infection originating from a single compromised business computer spread to 49 machines in its Japan network and executed file-copying commands, potentially resulting in exfiltration of some individuals' personal information and customer business data; the infected systems were isolated, monitoring and detection were updated, and no misuse of the data has been reported.
