Windows 11's Recall AI is now rolling out on Copilot+ PCs

Microsoft confirmed that Windows Recall is rolling out to Copilot+ PCs with Windows 11 KB5055627, bringing an AI-powered feature that captures on-screen activity to help users find and revisit content. Initially announced in May 2024, Recall drew criticism from security researchers for potentially capturing sensitive information like passwords in plain text; Microsoft responded by making the feature optional and adding filtering to exclude sensitive data. After testing and revisions, Recall is included in Windows 11 Build 26100 and begins broader availability with the May 2025 Patch Tuesday update.
