Huione Guarantee exposed as a $11 billion marketplace for cybercrime

Elliptic's investigation finds that Huione Guarantee, a Chinese-language marketplace run by Huione Group, functions as a laundering and enabling platform for large-scale online scams (notably pig-butchering), processing at least $11 billion in transactions; researchers captured chat evidence of Huione Pay staff facilitating laundering and collected hundreds of cryptocurrency addresses that can be used by exchanges and law enforcement to trace and block illicit funds.
