Operation Synergia: An Interpol-led coalition of 60 agencies from 55 countries, together with cyber-intel partners (Group-IB, Kaspersky, Trend Micro, Shadowserver, Team Cymru), identified over 1,300 C2 server IPs (Group-IB reported ~1,900 IPs) tied to ransomware, banking trojans, phishing and other malware between Sept–Nov 2023; roughly 70% of the servers were taken down, 31 suspects were detained, ~70 additional suspects identified, and investigations continue into the remaining infrastructure.
