Microsoft released out-of-band updates for Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022 to fix a Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) memory leak introduced by March 2024 updates that caused domain controllers to consume excessive memory, hang, and reboot during Kerberos processing; administrators should install the new cumulative updates from the Microsoft Update Catalog, and Microsoft reports no additional known issues.
