Nintendo of America confirmed an issue involving TinyPulse, a third-party employee survey platform, after the extortion group Shadowbyt3$ claimed to have exfiltrated roughly 1GB of data (including alleged employee personal details) and demanded $2 million; Nintendo says its own systems and customer data were not compromised, WebMD (TinyPulse owner) had not responded at publication, and BleepingComputer could not verify the leaked data.
