Cloudflare's Q4 report describes an unprecedented DDoS campaign attributed to the Aisuru/Kimwolf botnet — dubbed "The Night Before Christmas" — which produced hyper‑volumetric Layer 4 attacks peaking at 31.4 Tbps and HTTP floods reaching ~200 million requests/sec against telecommunications and IT targets; most attacks were short (1–2 minutes), many originated from Android TVs, and Cloudflare states the attacks were detected and mitigated automatically while overall DDoS activity rose sharply in 2025.
