Google Chrome reduced cookie requests to improve performance

Google explains a new Chrome feature, Shared Memory Versioning, that pairs document.cookie values with a monotonically increasing version and caches them per renderer while synchronizing versions via shared memory. This reduces redundant cookie-related IPC messages by about 80%, speeds cookie access by 60%, and yields up to 5% overall performance gains across platforms, helping more sites pass Core Web Vitals.
