Casio confirms customer data stolen in a ransomware attack

Casio confirmed a ransomware attack allegedly carried out by the Underground ransomware group that caused system disruptions and led to the theft and public leakage of sensitive data—including employee, job candidate, customer, partner, financial, contract, legal, HR, and technical documents; Casio states payment card data and some hosted services were not affected and authorities are investigating.
