Microsoft is deprecating password autofill in **Microsoft Authenticator**, with in-app notifications urging users to export saved passwords before July 2025 or switch to **Microsoft Edge**; beginning June 2025 new password saves will be blocked, in July 2025 autofill will stop working, and from August 2025 saved passwords will no longer be accessible in Authenticator, though passwords synced to a Microsoft Account remain available in Edge and can be exported to CSV for use in other managers.
