French Football Federation discloses data breach after cyberattack

The French Football Federation disclosed a breach in which a compromised administrative account was used to access club management software and steal personal and contact information (name, birth details, nationality, postal address, email, telephone number, and license number) of members; the FFF disabled the account, reset all passwords, filed a criminal complaint, notified CNIL and ANSSI, and will directly inform affected individuals while urging caution against phishing.
