Mississippi medical center reopens clinics hit by ransomware attack

The University of Mississippi Medical Center experienced a ransomware attack that blocked access to electronic medical records and forced cancellation of outpatient procedures and imaging for nine days; clinics have resumed normal operations while the hospital works with FBI and CISA and engages with the attackers who have been communicating with the organization.
