TfL requires in-person password resets for 30,000 employees after hack

Transport for London disclosed a cybersecurity breach that disrupted internal systems and resulted in the compromise of employee and customer directory data (names, contact details, addresses, job titles, employee numbers). TfL has required ~30,000 staff to attend in-person appointments to verify identity and reset passwords, and a 17-year-old suspect was arrested and later released on bail; TfL states there is no evidence of financial data or dates of birth being exposed.
