BreachForums v1 hacking forum data leak exposes members’ info

A November 2022 backup of BreachForums v1 member data (212,414 accounts) was leaked and publicly shared by a threat actor claiming the data originated from the forum owner; the dataset contains usernames, email addresses, registration and last-used IP addresses and has been verified by reporters and added to Have I Been Pwned. The leak enables linking of forum identities to real-world identities and other online accounts, posing privacy and investigative risks even if law enforcement may possess copies.
