Romania's oil pipeline operator Conpet confirms data stolen in attack

Romania's national oil pipeline operator Conpet S.A. disclosed a Qilin ransomware attack that resulted in data exfiltration (Qilin claims ~1 TB) and the public release of sample documents containing confidential financial information and passport scans; Conpet is working with the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate, says operations were not impacted, and warns individuals to be wary of fraud.
