Flipper Zero releases Firmware 1.0 after three years of development

Flipper Zero released Firmware 1.0, delivering a major stability update with expanded support for 89 Sub-GHz radio, 4 IR, and 20 RFID protocols, plus faster Bluetooth and NFC performance. Key additions include dynamic third‑party app loading from FAP files, a fully rewritten NFC subsystem with new card types and plugin parsers, JavaScript support for easier app development, Sub‑GHz listening and BinRAW format, IR remote enhancements, and extended standby battery life to a month; Bluetooth transfer and OTA update speeds are also improved. The firmware is available via the official downloads portal with installation over Bluetooth or USB, and the team plans to continue enhancing Flipper Zero while beginning work on a new product.
