CISA says recent government hack limited to US Treasury

The U.S. Treasury disclosed a major cybersecurity incident after Chinese state-sponsored hackers breached a BeyondTrust remote support instance using a stolen API key, targeting the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the Office of Financial Research; CISA reported no indication other federal agencies were impacted and said the compromised BeyondTrust instance was shut down.
