DOJ: Man hacked networks to pitch cybersecurity services

A Kansas City man was indicted for hacking multiple organizations, including a gym and a nonprofit, by physically and digitally breaching facilities, bypassing authentication with a boot disk, installing a VPN, changing account passwords, and publicly demonstrating access; he also used stolen credit card data to buy hacking tools.
