Cloud storage payment scam floods inboxes with fake renewals

A global phishing campaign is sending personalized, urgent-looking emails that claim cloud storage payment failures and direct victims via Google Cloud Storage-hosted redirectors to impersonated cloud portals; these pages perform fake storage scans and ultimately redirect to affiliate checkout pages to collect credit card payments and generate revenue for the scammers. The report includes sample sender addresses, subject lines, screenshots, and the redirect URL pattern (storage.googleapis.com) and advises recipients to delete such emails and verify billing directly through legitimate service apps or websites.
