Microsoft confirmed that Windows Server 2022’s June 11, 2024 update (KB5039227) can disrupt Microsoft 365 Defender’s Network Detection and Response, degrading features such as Incident Response and Device Inventory, while others remain unaffected; a fix is in progress. Additional issues include an Azure Synapse SQL Serverless Pool recovery problem addressed by KB50410540, a profile picture change error, and prior emergency fixes for update install failures, VPN breakages, domain controller reboots, and NTLM authentication issues.
