Have I Been Pwned: Prosper data breach impacts 17.6 million accounts

Prosper disclosed a security breach detected September 2 in which unauthorized access to company databases resulted in theft of confidential customer and applicant information; reporting from Have I Been Pwned indicates approximately 17.6 million unique email addresses were affected and the stolen data reportedly includes Social Security numbers, names, dates of birth, addresses, employment and credit details, IP addresses, and browser user agent strings.
