Everbridge warns of corporate systems breach exposing business data

Everbridge disclosed that attackers who leveraged credentials obtained from a prior phishing attack accessed a limited number of files on its corporate network on May 21, exposing business and customer data (including admin contact information and service/access details); the company has engaged Mandiant and Stroz Friedberg, alerted law enforcement, notified impacted parties, and is accelerating enforcement of multi-factor authentication for all accounts by June 3.
