Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS resolver experienced partial unreachability after Eletronet (AS267613) announced a more-specific 1.1.1.1/32 (a BGP hijack) and Nova Rede (AS262504) later leaked 1.1.1.0/24 upstream, causing multiple networks—including a Tier 1—to accept incorrect routes and blackhole or misroute traffic; Cloudflare mitigated the impact by disabling problematic peerings and leveraging RPKI, resolving the hijack within ~2 hours and the leak later the same night.
