Microsoft expanded the Windows 11 first sign-in restore experience under Windows Backup for Organizations to support hybrid-managed environments, multi-user devices, and Windows 365 Cloud PCs, enabling users to restore previous settings and Microsoft Store app lists at first login. Admins control availability via existing Intune or Group Policy settings, with general availability beginning on devices updated on or after February 24, 2026.
