Data broker LexisNexis discloses data breach affecting 364,000 people

LexisNexis Risk Solutions reported that on December 25, 2024 an unauthorized actor with access to a compromised company GitHub account acquired software artifacts and personal data for 364,333 individuals — including names, contact information, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and dates of birth; the company states its own systems were not breached and no financial information was exposed. Affected individuals were notified and offered two years of identity protection and credit monitoring.
