Microsoft announced that Exchange Server 2019 has entered extended support as of January 9, 2024; while feature requests and general bug fixes cease, security updates will continue, and two cumulative updates—CU14 (H1 2024, bringing TLS 1.3, an S/MIME control fix, and Extended Protection on by default) and CU15 (H2 2024)—are planned with hotfixes for regressions. The report also notes Exchange 2016 remains in extended support until October 2025, Exchange 2013 reached end-of-support in April 2023, and advises admins to remain on Exchange 2019 through October 2025 or migrate to Exchange Online, providing Microsoft’s migration guidance.
