Progress urges ShareFile customers to shut down servers over "credible" threat

Progress Software has warned ShareFile customers using on-prem Storage Zone Controllers of a credible external security threat and instructed immediate shutdown of the servers; cloud access for Storage Zone Controller accounts has been temporarily disabled while the company investigates with internal and external security experts, and no confirmed compromise or disclosure of a zero-day has been reported.
