Jaguar Land Rover disclosed a cyberattack at the end of August that has significantly disrupted production and led the company to extend a production pause while forensic investigations continue; JLR confirmed some data were stolen. A criminal group calling itself "Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters" posted screenshots of internal systems and claimed to have deployed ransomware, but JLR has not publicly attributed the breach to a known ransomware operation.
