Ukraine bans Telegram on military, govt devices over security risks

Ukraine’s National Coordination Centre for Cybersecurity restricted Telegram on official government, military, security, and critical infrastructure devices due to national security concerns, warning that Russian intelligence could access data and that the platform is used for cyberattacks, phishing, malware distribution, and coordinating strikes. The ban exempts roles that require the app and does not affect ordinary users, so public communications via Telegram are expected to continue.
