Real-estate finance services giant SitusAMC breach exposes client data

SitusAMC, a major real-estate finance services provider supporting banks and lenders, disclosed a data breach discovered in November that resulted in compromise of corporate data and some client-customer information. The company—whose clients include large financial institutions—says business operations were not impacted, no encrypting malware was found, and investigations with external experts are ongoing while affected parties are being notified.
