New Cisco DoS flaw requires manual reboot to revive devices

Cisco published a security advisory for CVE-2026-20188, a high-severity DoS vulnerability in Crosswork Network Controller (CNC) and Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) that can be exploited remotely by unauthenticated actors to exhaust connection resources and render systems unresponsive until a manual reboot; Cisco lists fixed releases and states it is not aware of active exploitation.
