Starbucks discloses data breach affecting hundreds of employees

Starbucks disclosed that attackers accessed 889 Partner Central employee accounts between January 19 and February 11, 2026, by harvesting login credentials via websites impersonating the employee portal; the breach exposed sensitive employee PII including names, SSNs, DOBs, and bank account/routing numbers, and Starbucks has notified law enforcement and is providing two years of identity/credit monitoring to affected partners.
