Microsoft released a signed WinPE USB recovery tool that automates removal of a faulty CrowdStrike kernel driver which caused Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) crashes and reboot loops on millions of Windows devices worldwide. Administrators must create the recovery USB using a provided PowerShell script, may need BitLocker recovery keys, and boot affected machines to run a script that deletes the buggy driver so devices can boot normally.
