Hacker leaks Telefónica data allegedly stolen in a new breach

A hacker identifying as 'Rey', affiliated with the Hellcat ransomware group, claims to have exfiltrated 106.3 GB of Telefónica data on May 30 via a misconfigured Jira server and has released a 2.6 GB archive (unpacked to ~5 GB) containing emails, invoices, logs, customer and employee records as proof. Telefónica has not acknowledged a new breach and some sample files date to 2021, creating uncertainty about whether the leak is new or re-used older data; the actor threatens to publish the full archive if the company does not respond.
