Over 178K SonicWall firewalls vulnerable to DoS, potential RCE attacks

Security researchers report that two related vulnerabilities (CVE-2022-22274 and CVE-2023-0656) affect SonicWall next-generation firewalls with exposed management interfaces, with roughly 178,000 devices reachable online potentially susceptible to DoS and possible remote code execution; a proof-of-concept exists for at least one CVE and administrators are advised to restrict management exposure and update firmware immediately.
