Plex tells users to reset passwords after new data breach

Plex suffered a data breach in which an unauthorized party accessed a limited subset of customer data — including email addresses, usernames, authentication data, and securely hashed passwords. Plex recommends users reset passwords, sign out connected devices, and enable two-factor authentication; no payment card data was stored or exposed and the company says it has remediated the breach vector.
